Driving Global Education
Founded in 2010 by Girish Ballolla, Gen Next Education, Inc. was born out of a vision to bridge the gap between global universities and the Indian education ecosystem. Recognizing the challenges Indian students face in accessing quality international education—and the complexities universities encounter while navigating the Indian landscape—Girish set out to create a platform that simplifies and strengthens these critical connections.
This vision led to the launch of The International Knowledge Center (IKC) in Bengaluru in 2011, later renamed The Center for Global Education, a first-of-its-kind resource designed to offer Indian students clear, reliable, and comprehensive guidance on overseas education opportunities.
As demand for international education grew beyond India, Gen Next strategically expanded its footprint to the Middle East in 2015, followed by Africa and Southeast Asia, responding to a rapidly increasing global appetite for quality education.
Now, 15 years since inception, Gen Next Education has expanded to 20+ countries and partnered with more than 500 universities to help them expand their global reach—solidifying our position as a trusted leader in global education solutions. Built on principles of transparency, integrity, and student-first values, we offer an alternative to transactional recruitment models—serving instead as a long-term, strategic partner in advancing global education.
