Born and raised in the Middle East, Ben’s journey led him from Bahrain to India for his undergraduate studies. After completing his master’s in Biomedical Genetics, he ventured to the United States for an MBA, unlocking new areas of opportunities. Over the course of the next decade, he moved from Arkansas to Ohio to New Jersey, and eventually back to India. It was during his time in Chennai, India that he discovered the world of international higher education and joined the Gen Next family in 2016, before relocating to Canada.

Having lived in various cultures around the globe, Ben has nurtured a perspective that celebrates the diversity each offers, shaping his identity as a global citizen. He believes that the best things in life come through exploration, collaboration, and commitment. 

His background as an international student inspires him to develop solutions for anyone navigating challenges within the international higher education landscape. In his current role as Director of Partner Success, Ben leverages all his experience to empower universities in fulfilling their role in the global community. He oversees engagement with Gen Next’s partner institutions, nurturing these relationships through strategic initiatives around the year. Acting as a bridge between universities and their in-country representatives in India, he ensures alignment towards mutual objectives and continuous progress.

As a passionate advocate for technology, Ben also manages Gen Next’s suite of tech platforms – connectED, gradED, admittED, and recruitED, ensuring seamless user experiences for all members around the globe. He also supports all technical aspects within the organization, equipping the Gen Next team with the necessary tools to deliver top-tier services to all stakeholders.

Ben currently lives in Ottawa, Canada and enjoys making music with the family when he needs to unwind.
